Homeless Awareness Night and Sleep Out

Youth and Family Homeless Awareness Night and Sleep Out. Drop off at the First Congregational Church of Deep River on Saturday, January 31st at 6p.m. Dinner and guest speakers to speak on their personal experiences with homelessness. This event is open to those in 8th grade or older. The plan is to stay the night outside in cardboard boxes if weather permits. No one will be allowed to stay outside for the entire evening if temperatures drop below freezing. Pick up Sunday morning, February 1st at 9:30a.m. Contact person prior to event is Chelsea Ehmke (860-391-9112).
