Spring is upon us and we will be holding outside Sunday School classes for 3 year olds through 8th grade!

* Join your teacher

* See your friends

* Be part of your class

Bring a blanket, towel or sit-upon, so each class can make a circle. Classes have been carefully planned with social distancing in mind. Hand sanitizer will be available for each class. Remember to wear your masks and use the bathroom before you leave the house for the church is off limits at this time (thank you for understanding).

This year DRCC is offering virtual Sunday School lessons. Due to multiple children in some families, the Board of Christian Education and Sybil Higgins, Director of Christian Education, decided to keep it simple. We will use one curriculum for the entire Sunday School. By emailing the link to the lessons each week, families will be able to decide when it is best for them to watch the short video message and download the materials. Since this is multi-age, you can also choose which activities are age appropriate.

In addition, an email will be sent to parents with an invite to a Zoom meet with their Sunday School teachers. If you would like to be part of these monthly chats, please be sure Sybil has your email on file. You can contact her at This email address is being protected from spambots. As these lessons progress, Sybil would appreciate feedback. She has participated in many Sunday School webinars and area churches are all in the same boat. This is new to us; we are trying to find what works. We are doing our best to provide materials to enhance your child's religious journey. Feel free to contact Sybil via email if you have comments about the new curriculum, suggestions we could explore or just to say "hi"! She is always available for you.

All are welcome to be part of our Sunday School, near or afar. If you wish to join in our virtual lessons, contact Sybil at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Each year we ask that a registration form be filled out for children attending Sunday School so we can keep pertinent information up-to-date. Please answer all questions on both sides of the form before submitting. We are asking parents and students to sign the Community Covenant on the back that simply states “children will support one another in efforts to be Responsible, Respectful, Prepared, Safe and Kind in all relations and interactions with others”. Click here for a registration form.
