On April 27, a Community Baby Shower will be held by the Deep River Congregational Church Board of Christian Service to support Safe Futures women’s shelter in New London. The cost of admission is the donation of baby items, such as clothes, baby wipes, blankets and diapers. The public is invited to participate in this community effort to help moms and their babies who are being protected at the shelter. DRCC will provide food, games, and fellowship.
